The story opens with a house party that goes terribly wrong and the entire family are all killed. We then cut to a new family, a Professor father, his wife and their son. The son is a bit strange and doesn't talk much especially to strangers. Not long after moving in strange things begin to happen plus the mom is found to be pregnant which means the family will have to find a nanny to help take care of their boy. The nanny that gets hired is a strange one and teaches the boy to bad and evil things, she is certainly the nanny from hell. In fact just about everyone they meet is strange and they all seem to have their own motives.

To go on with details about the story would only ruin for those of you wanting to check it out so I am not going to continue on but I can say this is a well-written, slow burner of a horror film that slowly builds towards it's climax. The main three actors, Jon Briddell, Hayden Byerly, Erin Coker all give excellent performances and the supporting cast did a fine job too. I'm sure some will mistaken this for the theater film that is coming out this month, it happens all the time and they will be the first to bitch about it but if they can't separate the theater films from the straight to video ones then I feel sorry for them. "11/11/11" could indeed end up being better than it's theatrical counterpart, I've seen it happen so don't count this film short. It has some good scares, a good amount of tension and suspense and at times it's plain brutal, plus it has a pretty damn good ending.
