Scare yourself silly and scream with laughter at this hilarious spoof of Hollywood's hottest horror movies. When a young family, who can't seem to stop filming themselves, moves into a house that turns out to be haunted, they meet up with a host of creepy characters -- including a horny vampire-hunting president who wants to emancipate their dragon-tattooed daughter. With help from the hysterically high-energy "Ghost Brothers" the family sets out to solve the mystery of the haunted house.

"30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is one mighty long title for any movie but we all know how bad these spoofs have become over the last several years. I went into this expecting nothing from it at all, the opening parody on skittles ad was very funny and it made for a good start but the film never really got any better than that.

The story deals with Dana who is on her way to visit her father who is in a psychiatric hospital after he killed the entire cast of The Artist while an exorcism was being performed on him. After he tricks her into buying him two hookers she leaves and in a voice over says she never went back to see him again. She later marries, has a few children and moves back into her childhood home, the same house that haunted her father. The film's main target is paranormal activity but no movie or character is safe here including, The Dragon Tattoo Girl, Lincoln, Dark Knight and even Donald Trump. Some part like the opening ad I mentioned earlier are very funny but the film falls flat more often than not.

The most impressive thing about the film has the cast, everyone in the film did a terrific job including Kathryn Fiore, Danny Woodburn and French Stewart to name only a few. The entire cast looked like they had a ball making the film which makes it a bit more entertaining for the audience. Still, I can't say this was very good, it is a bit better than most parodies that came before it but I still found myself more bored than entertained. If you're a fan of these spoofs and love them all regardless then I recommend checking it out but if you are on the fence and are hoping that this one is better than the last few I can tell you that it's barely better if at all.

Fan's may want to check it out just don't expect a lot from it. Available on DVD and Blu-ray, both come with Special Features that include:

Behind the Scenes of 30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

You can order the DVD HERE and the Blu-ray HERE.

The bottom line is I was hoping this was going to be a funny parody but sadly it was pretty much a let down on my end, the only reason I gave it the score I did was for the talented cast and a few funny scenes.
