In a small town circa 1860 small pox takes the life of a little girl. She enters a world that will get her prepped and re-incarnated for her next life. The library is a second chance, a place to select a storybook life and be reborn. The evil darkness takes the girl into lower earth. All the corners of hell are fighting to keep her from reaching the next level. Three guardians are sent to rescue her but they only have 30 minutes.

"6 Minutes of Death" is the third film from Writer/Director, Joe Ciminera. Like his first two films, Purification and Acedia this too is done on a very small budget, but what we learned from his first two films is that Joe's imagination and story-telling more than makes up for a lack of budget.

The above synopsis is about all you should know before seeing the film so not to ruin the it because there is a lot happening within the story that needs to be seen rather than told about. "6 Minutes of Death" is a suspenseful, engaging and often creepy Supernatural Horror that sucks you in right from its opening scenes and it doesn't let you go until the amazing conclusion. This is one of those stories that just gets better and better as it moves a long. Like I said before if you already saw either two of Mr. Ciminera's other films then you already know the kind of film and story he can create. This man is a master story-teller with a huge imagination and skill.

Acting wise everyone in the film did a great job, many of the actors have been in Joe's other two films so they have that familiarity with him and his approach to film-making. And finally one more little tidbit about the film is that like his first two this one was also done without a script or set dialogue before filming began.

When I watched "Purification" for the first time I knew just how special this filmmaker was then "Acedia" came out and again I was not disappointed. Now I had the pleasure of seeing "6 Minutes of Death" and all I can say is each film of his gets better and better and this one is the best so far. A wonderful piece of cinema that had me constantly wanting more, I loved everything about the film from the story to the settings and costumes all the way to its terrific cast of young and old alike, everyone did a great job playing their roles. If you already seen either of Joe's first two films you already know what to expect, if you have not then you need to watch both as soon as possible and visit Joe's Facebook page located HERE to keep up with everything. "6 Minutes of Death" was everything I expected it to be and more, I loved everything about it. It is a truly original, clever and suspense filled horror film that deserves to be seen. The DVD will be available at your local Redbox starting April 1st so be sure to check it out
