Ben Camelino (Joe Hursley), an I.T. drone at a boring corporation, wants to marry his gorgeous fiancée, Rachel Matthews (Jenna Dewan-Tatum), as soon as possible. Rachel wants the $50,000 dream wedding and her father, Jack (Christopher McDonald), has offered to pay for the wedding. Unbeknownst to all, even Rachel’s mother (Mimi Rogers), Jack has secretly gambled away all of their money. While following Jack one day, Ben walks into a male strip club and inadvertently discovers that he has a talent for exotic dancing. Under pressure from Jack to earn the money that would pay for Rachel’s dream wedding, Ben must somehow learn to balance his relationship with his new gig as a male stripper…which is really taking off!

"Balls to the Wall" is about an engaged guy who is forced by his future father-in-law to take a side job moonlighting as an exotic dancer in order to pay extravagant wedding neither of them can afford.

"Balls to the Wall" is a comedy I was not expecting much from. Going off the synopsis alone you could tell the film was pretty simple. So in some ways I got what I expected but at the same time I felt it was a little better than that. On one hand I was hoping for a bit better story, I am not saying that it is bad but I was hoping to find a bit more going on. In other words it was a bit too predictable.

So what did I think of the film over-all? I thought it had some good laughs, again a bit more than I expected but not enough to fill out the whole movie, I felt myself becoming a little bored by it at times. But some of the humor had be laughing out loud. There is one part in the film where Christopher McDonald's character does a strip dance and it alone is worth watching the movie for.

And speaking of the cast everyone in the film did a great job including Joe Hursley who was fantastic in the lead and Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Mimi Rogers were both very good as well playing the soon to be wed daughter and mother.

"Balls to the Wall" is a fun watch filled with some off the wall characters and some very funny moments as well. Over-all I had a good time watching it and recommend at least a rental to those that like comedy.
