Charismatic Nolan Bentley wakes up in the middle of a remote forest, tied to a tree with no recollection of how he got there. With his time relentlessly running out, a mysterious stranger appears and he must finally reckon with the demons of his past and fight to survive to find a way out of his nightmare.

'Bark' is set deep in woods and the conflict is between two men. One is bound to a tree while the other refuses to set him free for something he did. You wonder what could he have done that was horrible enough to have this kind of justice served to him. one possibility points to him being responsible for ripping down all the trees That may or may not be the truth because the film does a great job of keeping all its secrets hidden until the final act.

The film is slow moving but the acting from its two leads, Michael Weston and A.J. Buckley give amazing performances. That combined with realistic and clever dialogue that keeps the audience engaged the entire time.

'Bark' is a mystery/thriller with tension and suspense as thick as the woods itself. It will keep you glued to your seat and guessing what will happen next. If you are looking for an action film this is not for you but if you like a mystery /thriller that digs its claws into from its opening scene and never lets go until its justifying end.

'Bark' is going to leave you in tears and maybe even a smile with how it ends. The film will be available on Digital and VOD June 13th so be sure to check it out.
