When a divorce leaves her suddenly single, Jules (Courteney Cox, in a Golden-Globe nominated role) decides to hit the dating market again. Now she's facing two new realities: she's a "cougar," or older woman, and she's totally clueless about the modern singles scene. At the same time, her 17-year-old son (Dan Byrd) is finding his own way through the dating world for the first time.
Cougar Town is simply in story but it has a great many characters and is well-written and very funny. The first Season is now available on DVD. The show is created by the makers of "Scrubs" and you can easily tell so by it's humor. For the first few episodes the series focused more of Jules having a younger boyfriend but after that it settled into a more rounded comedy that uses all it's characters well. Additional Featurettes and more. Cougar Town is one of the funnier TV shows I have seen, the humor seems fresh even on repeat viewings.
If you seen the show before then I am sure you are looking forward to this being released on DVD and if you haven't seen it at all then I suggest picking this up either by buying it or renting first but either way I am sure you too are going to find it to be a very funny and entertaining sitcom.
