“Crash” takes an in-depth, up-close and deeply personal look at some of the lives slamming together in the melting post of Los Angeles. Led by film icon Dennis Hopper, it’s here where all ends of the social spectrum meet that collisions happen, shattering lives and creating new futures.

From the producers of the Academy Award®-winning Best Motion Picture of the same title, this drama series from Starz is about racial tensions in Los Angeles. I have to admit I never watched this show before receiving season one for review but I have seen the film and enjoyed it very much so I was looking forward to checking this out. Just like the movie the series focuses on multiple characters and multiple story lines so your not going to get a solution to every problem right away, the shows jumps around and tells all the stories so there is a lot to take in but it as interesting as it is captivating. There is a lot going on in this series besides the racial issues that are presented, it also takes a look at other problems such as police corruption and infidelity all of which are important issues facing society today. The acting is fantastic and the stories are all intelligent and thought-provoking. The series has characters that we all can relate to in one way or another, I see a few and said to myself "I know a person just like that", that is what I found most special about this series, that it is full of stories and characters that are very believable. Receiving this series for review has made be and instant fan. I read some changes were going to be made to the show for season two I just hope they keep the bar set as high as they did in season one, I think Crash is a series that has the potential to run for a very long time, after all there are always issues in our world that can be covered here. If you enjoyed the movie and/or like a good drama then I highly recommend picking this up. Brilliant acting from the entire cast and an interesting story that will have you hooked right from the start. The set comes with the following Special Features:

4-Disc Set
