A group of drug addicts are besieged by a group of mysterious figures inside a rural bar. As withdrawal starts to set in, a secret one of them is carrying threatens to destroy them all.

'Craving' takes place in a local bar run by the bartender and waitress. It is another quiet night with a group of locals inside until a group of men and women storm the place armed with guns. We quickly find out that there is another group who are chasing them. They decide to boarding the place up with the locals and the group inside. The ones outside demand that they give up the "monster" but the locals are just confused and the group inside are not saying much. One thing seems obvious it the group inside seem to be tweaking from a lack of drugs. The ones outside are willing to wait till morning before entering but there is a surprise waiting to happen for the locals inside.

'Craving' is a slow burn crime/thriller that uses flashbacks to not only help tell the story but it also creates more mystery and suspense then there already was.

Director, J. Horton who co-wrote the film with Gregory Blair who is also a terrific actor and is in the film as well. J. Horton does a great job stretching the story out and keeping the audience on the edge of their seats while the mystery thickens. 'Craving' demand patience from the audience but when it turns from a crime film into a full blown creature feature all hell breaks loose and the last act of the film is filled with goo, blood, guts and gore.

The film looks and sounds fantastic and the effects are all very well done. Another thing about the film that is easy to like is the cast. There are a good number of characters in the film that are well fleshed out but the flashbacks and the cast including, Felissa Rose, Al Gomez and Holly Rockwell to name only a few are amazing in the film.

The film has a lot going for it including a ton of mystery, tension, suspense and loads of grisly horror. Director, J. Horton and his amazing cast and crew deliver on what horror fans like the most. 'Craving' is a mix of crime, action and horror that will leave you with a yearning for lots more.
