This is a low budget Independent film and the production values reflect that but I thought it also enhanced the film at times and gave it the look it needed. The film certainly packs a lot of heart and you could tell by watching it that it must of been a labor of love to get it done by everyone involved. I thought the script was well-written and clever in that it took a story that has been done before and gave it a nice twist and I got to give the director credit for making an original film that for the most part successes on all levels. To talk about the story too much here would only ruin it for those of you that might be interested in seeing it but if you want to see a film that makes you think and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time then I suggest taking a look at this one. Independent cinema seems to be the place now for original contain and Daydreamer is a fine example of that. The film's two leading actors, Aaron Paul and Arielle Kebbel have become bigger stars since this first was made back in 2007 but you could already see their talent on full display here. I look forward to seeing more work from all involved in this film and Like I said before this is an entertaining and original take on a genre that certainly has become tiresome since then.
