Scientist Jason Drake (Carradine) has been holed up deep within a secret island laboratory of an unscrupulous biotech corporation. Doing what? Meddling with the laws of nature, of course! When he turns his attention from mutating fruits and vegetables to alligators, crocodiles and dinosaurs, something’s bound to grow to horrific proportions – and escape! Now, two of his most terrifying creations are loose on a tropical island paradise. Bullets won’t stop them. Explosives only tick them off. And their ravenous appetite for scientists, tourists, mercenaries and swimsuit models keeps growing.

In pursuit of the scaly beasts are an undercover investigator (Corey Landis), a sexy Fish & Game officer (Amy Rasimas), and a cold-blooded swamp hunter known only as “The Cajun” (Rib Hillis). But how can they stop two forces of perverted science that can outrun SUVs, crush buses, and snack on sleazy producers in hot tubs? When these monster lizards ultimately meet in battle, will mankind be the defeated species? Get ready for a bone-crunching, body-chomping, earth-trembling battle to the death!

When it comes to movies that show on the Syfy Channel or anytime Roger Corman is involved you know what you're getting and "Dinocroc vs. Supergator" is no different than all the other creature feature films that came before it. To make a successful film like this you need to have a few ingredients, first you need a few bad-ass creatures that are killing machines and are about as unbelievable as you can make them. Second you need a story that makes either very little sense or no sense at all and third you need a cast that is willing to buy into all of it and deliver the cheesy dialogue with conviction. Once you get all three wrapped up in a nice little package you end up with a "so bad it's good" fun time. Anyone old enough to remember all the old SciFi monster films is sure to love this, there's no plot worth remembering here, no lessons to be learned or complex characters but there's plenty of cheese, a nice amount of gore and some hot ladies running around in bikinis, what more can you ask for from a film like this?

The cast did a terrific job including Corey Landis and David Carradine in one of his final performances. The effects are bad to average for a Syfy channel movie but that's half the fun. There's guns, chases, explosions and lots and lots of silliness. "Dinocroc vs Supergator" is a fun, leave your brain at the door Scifi romp that is sure to please all fan's of the genre. Like I said this is a what you see is what you get film so if you don't like these cheesy films I suggest you move along but if you're like me and just eat these up then I highly suggest picking this one up.

The DVD and Blu-ray both come with Special Features that include:

Audio Commentary with Executive Producer Roger Corman and Director Jim Wynorski(A.K.A. Jay Andrews)
