Join the world's preeminent paleontologists in this eye-popping IMAX adventure as they uncover some of history's most astonishing dinosaur finds. Travel across the exotic dunes of the Gobi Desert and along the sandstone buttes of New Mexico as scientists make brand-new discoveries about dinosaur behavior, their environments and find what could be the oldest dinosaur ever unearthed in North America. With stunningly realistic and scientifically accurate CGI, you'll see these amazing creatures come alive... in a big way!

Originally shown in 3D in IMAX theaters, I am sure you miss out on some of the experience here watching it on a smaller screen but that doesn't make it any less entertaining. The film at 40 minutes is short but most films like this are, The effects are not perfect but they are good enough to help tell the story and certainly good enough for the kids to amzed at. Kids are not only going to not only be entertained here but first and foremost this is an educational program so they are going to learn a lot about the many different species of dinosaurs such as the Coelophysis to the huge herbivore Seismosaurus to the T-Rex - like predator Tarbosaurus and many more. The scenery is breath-taking as you get to see these amazing creatures walking around in Mongolia and New Mexico. While I thing this is aimed more to educate children adults too will enjoy the film and will also learn a lot about dinosaurs. Like I stated before I am sure this was a much better experience in IMAX but for anyone that is interested in dinosaurs or any of you that have children you might want to pick this up as this is one of those titles kids will want to watch over and over and there is nothing wrong with a film that entertains, educates and even inspires. Also this would make for a nice film to show in schools to our young as part of a learning session. Actor, Michael Douglas does a great job doing the narration, his voice is perfect for a film like this. I was captivated by this and really learned a lot and all along I was highly entertained.
