After a campus-wide zombie outbreak a slacker college student must protect his younger brother while becoming the unlikely leader of a small band of quirky survivors.

"Dorm of The Dead" is a student-made film that is from some youngsters from Tucson, AZ., the film looks and plays out like it's one as well but that's not a bad thing. The story is pretty simple but for a zombie flick it's what you would expect. The characters are a bit more developed than other zombie movies I have seen and the conflict between the two brothers adds a nice dose of drama to the proceedings as well. There's plenty of action, blood and even a nice amount of humor tossed it to make the film an entertaining watch.

These guys looked like the had a great time making this movie and it translates back to the audience so I had a fun time watching it even with it's obvious flaws which to me are not worth talking about here. I have to give lots of credit to these youngsters for making a film, it's something I could never do, they not only got it made and released but it's also an enjoyable film to watch as well. All zombie fans are going to want to check out. I sure hope these guys don't stop now, I look forward to seeing what they come up with next but until then I recommend this is all Indie fans and supporting inspiring filmmakers like these is also very important.
