When a billionaire sets out to take over the world through a diabolical scheme involving household appliances, the U.S. government sends in the only special forces unit capable of handling the job -- a squad of highly trained guinea pigs.

Family animation is always welcomed and if you liked "Cats and Dogs" you are sure to like this too, just replace the obvious with genetically enhanced guinea pigs. The voice actors make up an all-star cast each playing a particular guinea pig, Sam Rockwell is team leader Darwin, Tracy Morgan is loudmouth Blaster, Jon Favreau is everyschlub Hurley, and Penelope Cruz is exotic Juarez, with Nicholas Cage as Speckles the tech-savvy mole and Steve Buscemi as Bucky, a wacky half-ferret hamster who wants a pet-store cage all to himself. Also Zach Galifianakis(Hangover) plays the tech leader and human side of the team. The team has all the high tech gadgets needed to get the job done including gyroscopic jet cars, grappling hook and more. the effects are great but the film does lack intelligence in the story department so I think it will be more appealing to young ones and less to some adults but I found it to have lots of action and some great humor along the way that kept me laughing and just having a fun time all the way to the end. It seems they could of gone to a full cgi movie rather than partial but either way I found to be enjoyable and as you know we can never get enough family fare. If you have children or that inner child inside you just loves these animated family films that I highly recommend picking this one up.Packaged as an exciting Disney “Combo Pack” (a Blu-ray™ + DVD + DisneyFile Digital Copy of the movie in a single package and they come loaded with bonus features.
