Story wise the film doesn't offer up much as far as originality goes, there has been other comedies with similar themes but this one rises above those for several reasons. For starters the cast, where do I begin because each and every one in the film is terrific but I guess I can start with Josh Cooke who is great as Andy, he brings all the needed awkwardness and even charm to the role, then there's Greg Grunberg who is hilarious as his womanizing friend, Jerry. Plus who isn't going to love a film with the "Fonz", Henry Winkler in it as the group leader. Also Christina DeRosa is sexy and beautiful as Lucy, her acting talents certainly match her looks. The supporting cast are all fantastic as well and each and everyone play an important role in the story and each of their characters have different sex addictions that lead to some drop-dead funny dialogue and moments. I cannot finish talking about the cast without mentioning Tom Arnold who to me is one of the most under-rated comic actors in the business. Arnold steals every scene he is in and I just kept wanting to see more of him. If you couldn't already tell by the title Group Sex is an adult comedy and it can be offensive to some but I thought it was funny, smart and I thought the the romantic angle of Andy looking for true love fit in perfecting with all the sexual hi-jinx going on. When it comes to these types of comedies I don't think you are going to find one any better than this, fast paced, hilarious dialogue and a cast that delivers will have you on the floor in laughter. I am not sure why this wasn't giving a theatrical push of some sort because I think it would of done well with strong word of mouth. Mark August 24th down and remember to pick this one up when it comes out on DVD. This is one of those movies that demands an instant purchase of and skip the rental, you will be glad you did and you will be telling all your friends just how entertaining it is, I was left wanting more when it was over but I had a hell of a naughty time watching it and plan you giving it another go soon. A cult classic waiting to be discovered, don't miss it. Released by Monarch Home Video
