When Teresa and the girls leave their N.J. salon for a weekend of sun and sin down the shore, they're blindsided by bizarre events that send them from the sands of Seaside Heights to a secluded house deep in the N.J Pine Barrens. Frightened by stories of the legendary Jersey Devil, the local Piney's and a giant dim-witted neighbor, the girls return to Seaside and hook-up with five fist-pumpers. Later they converge at a Seaside bar where they re quickly ejected for a dance-floor brawl. With nowhere to go, the group retreats to the Pine Barrens for the night. Blinded by lust, they remain unaware that their long-standing debt to humanity is about to be settled - with their lives. One by one, the body count soars as retribution is exacted at the hands of a mentally-deranged killer with much more than just an axe to grind.

With a name like "Jersey Shore Massacre" you cannot take the movie too serious, it is a fun horror/comedy with lots of good looking people, some funny lines and blood and guts so what more can a slasher fan ask for?

I am not going to go any major plot details here because there really is not much I could add to what is already written above but I will say the plot is simple and predictable. I would of liked a more clever surprise in regards to the killer at the end but it is what it is. As expected these characters are about as annoying as the real Jersey Shore cast so it is really easy to root for the killer here.

The film is a bit slow at first but once the killing starts it is non-stop chaos and fun the rest of the way. I have to admit that I enjoyed the film more than I expected to, the name alone had me cringing before the film even started but this turned out to be a fun film with the right amount of horror and comedy plus a little nudity to please all fans. Acting wise it was as expected, nothing great but everyone did a fine job playing their characters and the film even has a spot in it for Ron jeremy which is a bonus. It is also noteworthy to mention that the film was executive produced by Jennifer "JWOWW" Farley.

If you are looking for an intelligent horror film with plenty of twists and turns look elsewhere but if you are looking for a fun little slasher film that delivers on what it promises look no farther.
