Veteran funny man Louie Anderson returns to the stage in this hilarious one hour stand up comedy special. Louie takes an unconventional and jovial look at his bad habits, pesky family members, and aging body.

I have to admit I never never been a big Louie Anderson fan but his three decades in the business has to say something about the man. Never seeing any of his stand-up stuff before I went into "Louie Anderson: Big Baby Boomer" not really knowing what to expect from it but in the end I felt it was pretty entertaining if not predictable to his fans I'm sure.

Louie talks about things like his weight, his constant craving for food, family, his turning fifty and his weight again. Don't get me wrong here some of this material was very funny but I felt there was something missing, a little of the self jokes went a long way and it would of been better if he had more to joke about.

Another downside to it all is the fact that the DVD is only 44 minutes long, now depending on how much you enjoy this stand-up will determine if you think it's too short or too long.

Like I said I know of him and he has had a successful career no doubt but I was never much of a fan so all I really have to go off of is this one stand-up act so fans will know for sure if this is one of his better routines or not. I thought it was pretty entertaining over-all, sure it could of a lot better and perhaps longer but I got enough laughs out of it to suggest at least a rental out of it.

The DVD doesn't come with any extras, you can order it HERE.
