A dysfunctional family of adult film stars reunites for a memorial porn shoot following the death of legendary producer Mo Saltzman. Along the way, the film's hapless director must contend with dueling divas, bickering couples, emotionally-scarred tag-team brothers, and a dominatrix with low self-esteem. Given its all-star cast and lofty pedigree, the film should be the greatest porno of all time.
What more can be said about this adult-comedy other than what is already written above? The film is about a group of porn stars that come together in an attempt to finish the film legendary producer Mo Saltzman never had the time to do before his sudden death. By coming together the group ignites some old romances, feuds and just about anything you can think of in this laugh a minute comedy. The Mockumentary co-stars Lindsey Stoddart as an unapologetic diva, Molly Hagan as an over-the-hill vixen and Mark Feuerstein as one half of a sibling tag team, it's an ensemble cast that delivers on all levels. I try to keep my reviews "family-friendly" so I am not going to go into any details on what happens in the film but I can tell you the film is raunchy, inappropriate and 100% hilarious. I found myself laughing out-loud numerous times during the film and not only from it's outrageous dialogue but from it's situational comedy as well. Family films are great to get the family together with but once it awhile it is a treat to watch a comedy with adult humor and "Love Shack" is that film and more. Sure it's everything I mentioned above but it is also clever and very well-written. Forget the "American Pie" films, "Love Shack" makes them look like a kids show in comparison.
The porn movie titles in the film are classic and worth the price of admission all by themselves, if you get offended easily I suggest you watch something else but if you like this sort of comedy then I have to highly recommend picking up "Love Shack", I haven't laughed so hard in a very long time.
