"Night Of The Tentacles" tells the story of Dave, a lonely, bit strange artist that leaves in an apartment complex. He likes the pregnant girl that lives below him, he even knows the exact time she gets home everyday and what she does after she arrive, in fact he even joins in. One day Dave has a heart attack and he finds out he needs a new heart but he doesn't have the insurance to cover...enter Satan who tells Dave that he will give him a new heart if he agrees to the contract which Dave does. What Dave didn't know though was that his new heart was going to be in a box not in his chest and he would have to care for and feed it regularly or both will get sick and die. The problem is his new heart wants humans for his meal, "Little Shop of Horror" style.

If you're a fan of Indie cinema then you already know about Filmmaker Dustin Mills, but if for some strange reason you don't then you need to really fast because I see really big things in this man's future. "Night of The Tentacles" is Dustin's third film each one is different than the other but there is no mistaking Mills trademark, no budget film making.

For a film done on practically no budget I was immediately impressed with it's look, the cinematography and the lighting are fantastic. The effects are cheap looking that's because they are but they just add to the already hilarious antics at play here. The entire cast did a great job but the film clearly belongs to Brandon Salkil who is incredible as Dave, I had to go over to IMDB to see what other movies he has been in only to find out he has only done a few films with Mills and one other. I think that will all change once people see this film, Brandon is a very talented young actor and I see him going places real fast.
