When sexy intergalactic pirates disguised as nurses infiltrate a ship transporting much-needed fuel to Earth, they unwittingly unleash a malicious alien power that turns the ship's inhabitants into bloodthirsty space zombies. Now, pirates and crew must band together to destroy the evil force before the infected vessel reaches Earth.

This is one of those sci-fi horror films that could of been much better if the film makers had a bit more budget to work with but it still has some good things going for it. The film feels like it could of been made in the eighties with it's low budget and average at best cast. The acting does vary though from being bad to very good, Steve Railsback is a legend and and him playing a big part in the film helps in taking it up another notch. With any film like this all that really matters is the effects and the gore and both are very well done here, the space zombie make-up is done nicely and there is just the right amount of blood and gore here to keep any fan happy. If you go into this expecting something big with expensive special effects you are going to be disappointed but if you take it for what it is then I think you will have a good time watching it. The pace is fast right from the start and it never lets up till the very end. Sure there has been better movies in the genre but for a straight to video release this is certainly one of the better ones to come out and I thought the film looked much bigger and better than the budget would suggest here. The DVD comes with Special Features that include:

Making Of Featurette

Commentary with the Director,Producer and Star Steve Railsback

Trailer

I certainly had a good time watching the film and was never once bored so just sit back with a few of your favorite drinks and just go with it.
