An isolated town full of sexy college girls. A tough big-city cop investigating a series of unsolved disappearances. A psychotic killer with a taste for terror, torture and sorority sister torment. But when this party gets started, will all of them receive an advanced degree in extreme horror?

"Sorority Party Massacre" is about a group of sorority girls who head to ranch on Grizzly Cove to compete in a contest. The film wastes no time getting started, as it opens we are introduced to Holly, the daughter of a police captain back in the big city. She backs a stop late at night because she is lost but then a call comes in and someone on the other end threatens to kill her dog and then her. This is a terrific opening scene that really gets you involved, it gets the blood pumping and has you wanting more, lots more. After the opening scene and the film's opening credits we meet the Captain who is very concerned because his daughter never checked back in as promised. Then we meet Detective Watts who is being suspended for being over aggressive on the job. Watts persuades his captain to let him travel to Grizzly Cove to make find his daughter and make sure she is alright. After witness a few deaths shorty after arriving the Detective decides to do a little investigating only to find out that there has been girls killed there every year for the last 20. Now he has to act quick to find the killer before he or she strikes again.

As I already stated, the film has an awesome opening scene but sadly it goes downhill from there. This is a slasher film much like "Scream" was, a horror comedy but this one is not as cleaver. So let me tell you know I did like a bout the film, if taken as a comedy the film works pretty well because some of the humor is funny and to be honest there just is not enough gore in the film to take it as a horror film. I mean you get to see very little carnage on screen. Another thing good about the film is all the sexy ladies, this is one movie the guys will enjoy looking at. And lastly I thought the acting was pretty good considering what the cast had to work with here. Tom Downey is very good as Detective Watts, I remember him from the days when he was a regular in "The Asylum" films. It was nice seeing him again. The rest of the supporting cast including, Kevin Sorbo, Ed O'Ross, Leslie Easterbrook, Richard Moll, adult film legend Ron Jeremy and new Scream Queens Marissa Skell, Eve Mauro and Yvette Yates all give good performances as well.

"Sorority Party Massacre" was a film I really wanted to like a lot, after its amazing opening scene I even wanted to love it but it ended up being average at best. It does keep you interested with its fast pace and twists but in the end I was a bit disappointed. The one thing that really swayed me was the identity of the killer, Without causing spoilers I will just say it was too messy for me. I am not going to tell you to avoid the film altogether but I will see it could of been so much better. Available on DVD with Special Features that include:
