After a personal tragedy, Miranda explores unconventional self-help methods, only to learn from a spiritual healer that she has an infection of her aura called a ‘KILLGRIN’, which thrives off her misery. Initially skeptical, Miranda turns to the more traditional method of group therapy, but soon unravels a terrifying truth when people close to her suffer a gruesome fate.

'The Killgrin' is a horror film from Director, Joanna Tsanis. This is her first time doing a feature film and she did an amazing job keeping the film moving a slow, steady pace while pulling the audience into the young woman's nightmare.

'The Killgrin' tells the story of Miranda, a young woman who loses her boyfriend to suicide. After joining a therapy group for dealing with grief, she decides to see a psychic who tells her she has an infection in her aura known as a Killgrin. She blows it off but after seeing people around her turning up dead and seeing shadows of something that isn't human see begins to believe that she may be next to die.

'The Killgrin' is a slow-moving horror film that grabs your attention right from the start. The story behind this "infection", which feeds off of people's pain and suffering, quickly gets inside your head and under your skin. It is a creature feature that will have you terrified and unable to sleep long after it is over.

Actress Konstantina Mantelos gives an amazing performance as Miranda, a young woman suffering from a horrible loss. The rest of the cast was just as impressive, including Cristo Fernández of "Ted Lasso". We all suffer from grief and depression from many things in our lives and in can be painful to go through. 'The Killgrin' takes the premise and manifests into a frightening creature feature that will scare the hell out of you. I highly recommend checking it out when it comes to Theaters and VOD/Digital Platforms on 4/25. The story will keep you at the edge of your seat the entire time and it's ending with effect you long after it is over.
