A bank heist descends into violent chaos when one of the hostages turns out to be a serial killer. Trapping the well-organized team of bank robbers in the building, the killer is now picking them off one by one...

"The Last Heist" isn't your run of the mill bank heist film, the story centers on a group of bank robbers who target a certain bank which has recently closed. The reason is there are still safety deposit boxes that have not been emptied yet. But what they do not know is a serial killer who has made news lately for taking the yes of his victims is in the bank as well getting his "personal" belongings. Now the robbers have something more to worry about as the serial killer begins taking them out one by one.

The film is unique in that it blends a heist film with a serial killer which makes for an interesting and enjoyable thriller. This group of bank robbers has everything covered in case the police catch onto them, even a plan b but they have no plan for this ruthless killer hell bent on saving souls. The plot is pretty simple but the film does toss in several twists as the story moves along which keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen next, just when you think the movie is over it tosses in another twist.

The film is tense, suspenseful and there is also plenty of blood for all the horror fans out there. Another thing that made the movie good as the cast which includes, Torrance Coombs, Victoria Pratt and Mykel Shannon Jenkins. They all gave very good performances but to me the film belonged to Henry Rollins who is fantastic as the serial killer, he gives a terrific performance that is both subtle and terrifying at the same time.

Even though the story takes place inside the bank there is a lot going on in both the story and between the characters, each one of the robbers has their own ideas about what to do and it causes friction between them. There are also some funny moments as well to help lighten the mood. "The Last Heist" isn't perfect by any means but it is a fun and suspenseful thriller that starts off good and finishes strong. An original heist film that fans are sure to enjoy and if you are a fan of Rollins then you definitely want to check him out it this film. "The Last Heist" is in Theaters, on VOD and iTunes now so be sure to check it out, I think you will enjoy it as much as I did.
