In The Postcard Killings, based on the James Patterson and Liza Marklund #1 New York Times bestselling novel, NY Detective Jacob Kanon’s (Jeffery Dean Morgan) world is destroyed when his daughter and son-in-law are brutally murdered in London. Unable to sit idly by and do nothing, Jacob travels to London to get the answers he needs. As he learns of similar heinous murders happening across Europe - each preceded by a postcard sent to a local journalist - Jacob is in a race against time to stop the killings and find justice for his little girl.

New York detective Jacob Kanon has a daughter who is brutally murdered as she honeymoons in London. Kanon travels to London in search of answers but while he is there he finds out there have been other killings that have happened and they all are done in similar fashion and before each a postcard is sent to someone either in office or in journalism. With help from a local journalist Kanon looks for clues as he inches closer and closer to the killer.

'The Postcard Killings'is based on the James Patterson and Liza Marklund #1 New York Times bestselling novel. I cannot say for sure how closely it follows the novel but I will say the film is a well-made crime/drama with a bit a mystery to it. This is a film that you have to pay attention to because it has many characters, locations and scenarios as well as a few suspects and a number of twists as well.

The film also has a talented cast including, Jeffrey Dean Morgan who is exceptional as Jacob. The film also stars Famke Janssen as Jacob's distraught wife. The supporting cast are all excellent as well including Cush Jumbo, Joachim Król, Steven Mackintosh, and Denis O’Hare.

'The Postcard Killings' doesn't waste anytime getting started and it grabs your attention right away and it keeps you engaged the entire time. RLJE Films will release THE POSTCARD KILLINGS on Blu-ray and DVD on May 19th with Special Features that include:
