this is the story of the Millennium Bomber, who attempted to blow up LAX in 1999. A made for Canadian TV movie that is one of the best movies about terrorism I have seen. I know there has been many films made about terrorism since 9/11 which is a day we all will never forget but this one goes back to 1999 when Ahmed Ressam, the Muslim extremist who smuggled a bomb into the U.S. and attempted to set it off in the Los Angeles International Airport on New Year’s Eve in 1999. Many of you might already know this story but the film really captures what happened in great detail. The story is riveting,captivating and very scary, it is a sad reminder of the danger we still face even today. The cast is terrific here, Chenier Hundal does a great job at playing Ahmed as well as Chris Martin, Kathleen Robertson and Michael Ironside who brings that veteran skills the film needed. Director Jerry Ciccoritti does a great job at keeping the edge of your seat suspense high and and he keeps the film moving at a fast pace while managing to keep you informed and engaged. If you like this sort of tension filmed drama then I highly recommend picking it up, even all these years later it stills sends chills up my spine thinking about it all and it will leave you thinking long after it is over.
