Businessman Luke (Robert Diaz) appears to have the perfect life, especially after he becomes engaged to Cassie. After a gang of thugs attacks them, however, killing Cassie and beating Luke, he becomes obsessed with revenge at any cost. Although a dedicated police officer attempts to divert him from his dangerous path, Luke devotes his many resources to transforming himself into a killing machine and pursuing the underworld forces responsible.

It doesn't take long for you to tell this is a low-budget Australian revenge flick but given time it has enough action and interesting characters to make up for it's flaws. The film is a straight forward revenge flick like any other you might of seen before but it does have some good thing for for it as well. As far as it's flaws go the film does have some plot holes and some scenes seemed rushed leaving you scratching your head a bit but those are minor details. The story is basic at firs and it begins when Luke and his fiancée are attacked by a trio of thugs he is beaten and held while she is raped and then killed, Luke wakes in the hospital with no clue of who the killers were and why they did what they did. After leaving the hospital he is confused,heart-broken and vengeful but he lets his emotions get the best of him and after a bar fight he again lands in the hospital. This time he is offered help from his fitness/rehab coach who trains Luke to fight. What starts off as a slow and some what disjointed film slowly gets better as it moves along and towards the end there are some very nice yet brutal action scenes as well as a twist I never seen coming which I thought was smart and clever. There's an obvious down side to having such a low budget here but I felt Director, Aash Aaron did a good job at creating a the story with some good action scenes as well as creating some characters that were interesting which certainly helps in a film such as this. I can't say this is for everyone simply because some might get turned off early by the film's obvious budget but if you are a fan of of these types of revenge films I think this one is worth picking up and taking a look at, stick with it and I think you will find it is time well spent. Also on a side note be sure to stick around for the credits for a little extra surprise. The DVD comes with special features that include:
