When Jonathan Burke, a financial advisor, starts dating Jenna Casey, an aspiring lawyer, Johnathan's best friend Andy Romeo is convinced she looks exactly like a famous adult film star. Not only does Johnathan have to deal with his friends claim but he also has to juggle his relationship with his boss who is possibly black-mailing him and is Jenna's brother-in-law.
'Who's Jenna...?' tells the story of Financial advisor, Jonathon Burke. After meeting Jena Casey in a bar the two being a relationship but things begin to get more complicated from there. For starters his best friend and room-mate, Andy Romeo swears is she looks exactly like the porn star Jenna. But what makes things even more complicated is that his boss his Jenna's bother-in-law.
When his boss tries to blackmail him into closing a porn star's account for no reason Jonathon begins to have second thoughts about his boss and the promotion his boss promised him.
The film is being billed as starring Vincent Pastore from "The Sopranos" but I have to warn you he is only in the movie for the first five minutes. With that said I have to say that after the first three minutes I had to pause the movie because it was the most hilarious opening scene I have seen in any movie in a long time.
As the film opens it is 1975 and we are quickly introduced to Johnathon's and Andy's parents as both set of parents are heading to the hospital to give birth. After that the film switches to present day and we are introduced to Johnathon and Andy who is obsessed with porn.
'Who's Jenna..?' is a laugh a minute old school comedy that has it all. A little drama, laughs, some porn minus the nudity and a bit of romance. Hell, the names used for the porn films within the film are worth the price of admission alone. Another thing that made the film so good was the acting, Vincent Pastore may only be in the movie for five minutes but he is drop dead funny. Bill Sorvino and Joseph D’Onofrio are terrific as Jonathon and Andy. Joseph D’Onofrio in particular is so funny because he is given a lot of the best lines. Tracey Birdsal is also fantastic as Jenna, she steals every scene she is in. She is such a beautiful and talented actress. The rest of the supporting cast all did a great job as well. There wasn't one weak link in the entire cast.
'Who's Jenna...?' is a comedy that really entertains, kind of like the comedies Hollywood use to make. It is an adult comedy that is raunchy, charming and hilarious. It is sure to leave a smile on your face. Writer/Director, Thomas Baldinger deserves a lot of credit for making a comedy that is this much fun. He really has a funny bone.
